Ripple Creek Backcountry Yurt

With the capacity to comfortably host up to five intrepid explorers, the yurt features two cozy bunk beds, ensuring restful slumber after a day of exhilarating exploration. A robust woodstove, with an ample supply of firewood, promises to keep you snugly warm as winter swirls outside. Cook a hearty meal in the basic kitchen and savor it amidst the tranquil ambiance of nature. This is not just any getaway; it's a self-sufficient, off-grid haven designed for those seasoned in navigating winter conditions, promising a rugged yet rewarding experience like no other. $200/day 600cc Snowmobiles
Porter Services available for overnight guests that do not have snowmobiles or do not want to rent snowmobiles. Call us to discuss your needs.
 
What you need to bring when staying at the yurt:
Yurt door lock combination
Yurt confirmation packet
Sleeping Bag
Pillowcase
Phone
Phone charger
Food
Water (If you do not want to melt snow for water)
Head lamp or flashlight
 
What is at the yurt:
Kitchen: The yurt comes equipped with a two-burner propane cook stove. ( Pot, Pans, Dishes, Silverware, Measuring cups, cooking utensils, water and coffee cups, coffee percolator and filters, paper towels and trash bags, soap, scrub pads, and cook Spices).
 
Lighting: The yurt comes with a solar light system and usb charge ports.
 
Sleeping: The yurt is set up to accommodate up to 5 persons. The arrangement is two bunk beds. One with two twin mattresses and one with a XL twin and a double futon mattress. There are 5 pillows provided. More can fit at you the guest’s discretion.
 
Heat: The yurt comes equipped with a woodstove. Firewood is stored in the firewood box outside. Please keep the inside firewood box stocked. There is newspaper and matches provided as well for fire starting.
 
Toilet: There is an outhouse for going to the bathroom. Toilet paper is provided. This is a public toilet vault.
 
Water: Water is by snowmelt. There are 2 large pots, which live on the woodstove for melting snow for cooking, drinking, and doing dishes. There are other large pots for collecting snow. It is recommended that all drinking water be boiled or filtered
 
Accessories: There is a broom, mop and bucket, hatchet, axe, maul, snow shovel, and digging shovel. These will help with managing the snow
